Your Natuary Guide to Getting the Best Results
Natuary formulas are concentrated by design. That means a little goes a long way, and technique matters.
If you're new to Natuary products or your results haven't matched your expectations, these simple adjustments often make the biggest difference. Our products rely on enzymes, probiotics, minerals, and plant-based surfactants that work intelligently at the molecular level. Giving them the right conditions helps them perform at their best.
Laundry Detergent Concentrate
- Use 8 ml for standard HE loads (fill to the lower line on the included measuring beaker).
- Use 16 ml for heavily soiled loads or standard non-HE machines (fill to the upper line on the included measuring beaker).
- For homes with soft water, start with half the recommended dose.
- Pour directly into the detergent drawer or drum using the included measuring beaker.
- Follow garment care labels.
- Cold water cycles work well for everyday cleaning.
- For extra whitening or stubborn soils, pair with Natuary OxyBoost.
- Wash the measuring beaker with your load to keep it clean.
Common Mistakes:
- 🚫 Using more detergent than necessary. Concentrated formulas are designed to clean effectively with small amounts. Adding extra detergent won't necessarily make clothes cleaner. It can contribute to residue buildup in fabrics or your washing machine, especially if the load is overloaded or the machine isn't rinsing efficiently. Over time, that buildup can redeposit onto clothing and may appear as oily-looking spots or streaks.
- 🚫 Adding Vinegar. We do not recommend using vinegar with Natuary Laundry Detergent or OxyBoost. Vinegar is acidic and can interfere with the performance of both detergents and oxygen-based cleaners. In some situations, particularly when oxygen-based cleaners are not fully dissolved, the combination may increase the likelihood of color loss or lightened spots on certain fabrics.Natuary Laundry Detergent is formulated to provide odor control, softness, and a residue-free clean without the need for vinegar, fabric softeners, or additional laundry additives.
Stain Remover
Enzymes work best when they're given time. For best results:
- Spray directly onto the stain.
- Let sit for 20 minutes to one hour.
- For older or stubborn stains, allow it to soak overnight.
- Wash promptly after treatment.
- Pair with Laundry Detergent Concentrate and OxyBoost in the wash cycle for maximum stain removal.
- Earlier treatment generally produces better results than waiting several days.
Common Mistakes:
- 🚫 Spraying the stain and immediately tossing the item into the wash. Enzymes need time to break down the stain before the wash cycle begins. Let the product sit for at least 20-60 minutes, or longer for stubborn stains.
- 🚫 Mixing stain remover with vinegar. The acidic environment can reduce enzyme performance, making it harder for the formula to break down stains effectively. Apply the stain remover on its own and let it do the work before washing.
- 🚫 Putting the garment in the dryer before checking whether the stain is fully gone. Heat can set many stains deeper into the fabric, making them much harder to remove. If the stain is still visible after washing, treat it again and rewash before drying.
Household Cleaning Concentrate
Proper dilution creates optimal cleaning performance.
For Everyday Cleaning:
- Dilute 1 part concentrate with 13 parts water.
For Deep Cleaning:
- Dilute 1 part concentrate with 9 parts water.
For Floors + Windows:
- Add only 1 to 2 drops of concentrate to 14 to 16 ounces of water.
For Stubborn Grime:
- Spray the surface first.
- Allow the solution to sit for a few minutes.
- Wipe clean with a cloth or scrub brush.
Common Mistakes:
- 🚫 Using an incorrect dilution ratio.
- 🚫 Wiping immediately before the ingredients have time to work on stubborn spots.
- 🚫 Filling only to the concentrate line on Natuary’s Glass Spray Bottles and not topping off with water. The fill lines are designed to be used together for the intended dilution and best cleaning performance.
OxyBoost Powder
OxyBoost performs best when activated with water.
For Laundry:
- For front-loading washers, add OxyBoost to water or directly into the drum before adding laundry to ensure even distribution.
- For top-loading washers, allow the machine to fill with water and begin agitating before adding OxyBoost for the best results.
- Use an extra scoop for large or heavily soiled loads.
For Cookware:
- Sprinkle ½ to 1 scoop onto residue.
- Cover with hot water.
- Let soak before scrubbing.
For Stubborn Household Messes:
- Sprinkle a small amount of OxyBoost onto the area.
- Spray with Household Cleaning Concentrate to create a paste.
- Let sit for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Scrub gently and rinse.
Common Mistakes:
- 🚫 Expecting instant results. OxyBoost is activated by water and needs time to release oxygen and break down stains. For best performance, use it as directed during the wash cycle or allow it time to work on other approved applications.
- 🚫 Applying OxyBoost directly to dry fabrics or using a concentrated paste on textiles. High local concentrations can cause color loss or bleaching. Always use it in the wash cycle as directed for laundry care.
- 🚫 Mixing OxyBoost with vinegar. The acid reduces the oxygen-releasing action that powers stain removal, making the product less effective. Use OxyBoost with water or as directed for best results.
A Few Universal Tips
- Concentrated products require less than traditional cleaners.
- Time improves performance; let enzymes and oxygen do their work.
- Follow dilution instructions rather than estimating.
- For older, set-in stains, repeat treatment before running through the dryer, if needed.
