These strains stay shelf-stable in the concentrate, and remain dormant even after dilution until they come into contact with specific types of organic matter on a surface. 

The process is incredibly smart: once they come into contact with a surface, the probiotics will "wake up" in response to the organic matter they're built to break down, and begin producing their targeted enzymes to get the job done.

How to approach Showers + Tubs

To clean showers and tubs, spray all surfaces using the Deep Clean dilution. Wipe or scrub where needed. For buildup in areas like grout lines, corners, and around drains you could sprinkle in some OxyBoost during the cleaning process! After cleaning, rinse everything thoroughly.

Even with rinsing, the probiotics don’t fully disappear. Once they come into contact with organic matter, they activate and continue working behind the scenes helping your surfaces stay cleaner between deep cleans. If you want to extend that effect, you can do a quick post-rinse spray in corners or problem areas. Just avoid coating the floors of tubs and showers to prevent slipping.
